HIV Survey
The compiler of the annual EuroHealth
Consumer Index, the Brussels and Stockholm-based Health Consumer
Powerhouse (HCP) are conducting a questionnaire which allows individuals
and organisations to contibute views to the forthcoming Euro Consumer
HIV Index 2009. The questionnaire is very short — only 6 questions,
preceded by some brief profiling questions. Filling in the questionnaire
should take you no more than about 5-10 minutes.
The survey is being conducted online on a specialist survey site, so
allowing all responses to be completely anonymous. No IP addresses or
email details can reach the survey managers (unless you choose to
mention such information in the survey).
If, however, you would like to be sent the weblink to the completed Euro
Consumer HIV Index 2009 when it is published later in 2009, you can
specify contact details for that at the end of the questionnaire.
The survey will close on Monday, May 11th 2009 (but input would be
welcome earlier than that, as your opinions can help to quickly
establish some trends).
Should you have any questions regarding this survey, please do not
hesitate to contact the survey administrator: Louise Oatham, 'HCP HIV
survey 2009', PatientView, Woodhouse Place, Upper Woodhouse, Knighton,
Powys, LD7 1NG, UK.

World AIDS Day Website
The 2007 World AIDS Day website,
www.worldaidsday.org , is now live.
The site reflects the UK theme for World AIDS Day 2007, 'Understanding
Through Communication' by answering commonly asked questions about HIV
and encouraging people to talk openly and break the silence around HIV.
Main highlights of this year's website are the video and audio clips of
people living with HIV in the UK talking about their personal
experiences.
Organisations are encouraged to submit video or audio clips of people
living with HIV who are willing to talk about their experience, which
will be featured on the World AIDS Day website. This will help to
inspire others to take action and develop a clearer understanding of the
realities of HIV in the UK.
If you are organising an event to help raise funds for World AIDS Day,
you can promote it for free by submitting details at:
www.worldaidsday.org/events_add.asp
You may also be interested in purchasing awareness-raising materials
featuring the World AIDS Day theme and design, which are currently
available from the National AIDS Trust shop at
