Counsellor Placements Body Positive is dedicated to supporting the emotional and mental well-being of our community.
We have a number of placement opportunities and are actively seeking passionate volunteer counsellors to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals.
As a volunteer counsellor, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and confidential support to clients dealing with a range of issues, including identity exploration, coming out, family acceptance, and mental health challenges. By offering your time and expertise, you’ll help create a safe and affirming space for those who need it most.
We welcome applications from individuals with counselling qualifications or those currently in training.
An understanding of the specific challenges faced by LGBTQ+ communities is desirable, but we provide training and a commitment to inclusivity and respect for diversity.
In return, we offer group supervision, access to training opportunities, and the chance to work with a dedicated and experienced team. Your contribution can have a life-changing impact on the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals.
