Alexis and Liam Blake
Content Creators and Influencers
Alexis is a transgender woman, digital creator and advocate who shares honest reflections on identity, transition and everyday life. Alongside Liam, she has built a large and engaged online community through content that combines personal storytelling, humour and thoughtful discussion.
Together, Alexis and Liam offer an authentic perspective on love, partnership and LGBTQ+ visibility. Through social media and their podcast, The Blake Debate, they explore current issues, share personal insights and create space for open, accessible conversations.
Rosie Garland
Writer and Performer
Rosie Garland has a passion for language nurtured by public libraries. An award-winning poet, novelist and short story writer, she is frontwoman for post-punk band The March Violets. Her four historical novels include The Night Brother, described by The Times as “a delight…with shades of Angela Carter” & The Fates, her queer retelling of Greek myth.
Latest poetry collection This Is How I Fight was Observer Poetry Book of the Month. Val McDermid named her one of the UK’s most compelling LGBT+ writers, and in 2023 she was made Fellow of The Royal Society of Literature.
Rikki Beadle-Blair
Writer, director, performer
Rikki is an acclaimed writer, director, performer and mentor whose work has shaped LGBTQ+ culture in the UK and beyond. Across theatre, film, television and radio, he has spent decades telling bold stories, challenging prejudice and creating space for voices too often pushed aside.
Known for groundbreaking work including Metrosexuality, Stonewall and Bashment, Rikki has been a powerful force in queer arts, Black British culture and social justice. His work combines creativity, political insight and more than a little irreverence.
A passionate advocate for emerging talent, Rikki is also widely respected for mentoring and inspiring new generations of artists, writers and activists.
Tom Robinson
Musician and broadcaster
Tom is a pioneering musician, broadcaster and long-standing LGBTQ+ activist whose work has helped shape queer culture and visibility in the UK. Rising to prominence with the Tom Robinson Band, he is best known for powerful songs such as Glad to Be Gay, which became an anthem for LGBTQ+ rights.
Alongside his music career, Tom has spent decades as a respected radio presenter, championing new artists and diverse voices through his work with BBC Radio 6 Music. His commitment to equality, storytelling and representation runs through everything he does.
Tom’s influence extends far beyond the stage, with a legacy rooted in activism, creativity and giving voice to communities often unheard.
Jonathan Mayor
Comedian, host and broadcaster
Jonathan is a comedian, entertainer and broadcaster known for his sharp wit, warmth and long-standing support for LGBTQ+ communities. Through performance, hosting and media work, he has built a reputation for bringing people together through humour, warmth and connection.
With a career spanning live comedy, radio and event hosting, Jonathan has used his platform to entertain, challenge and engage audiences, often bringing a distinctly queer lens, and a welcome dose of mischief, to his work.
A passionate supporter of community initiatives and LGBTQ+ visibility, Jonathan also helps create spaces where people feel seen, included and celebrated.
